  • Scholarship Description
  • The Dallas Foundation manages a number of scholarships for students with diverse interests. The Dr. Don and Rose Marie Benton Scholarship was established by supporters of the Lovers Lane United Methodist Church in honor of Dr. Don and Mrs. Rose Marie Benton, longtime friends of the Trinity River Mission.

    Applicants must be residents of Dallas County, Texas and students, or parents of students and volunteers who have been affiliated with Trinity River Mission in Dallas, Texas. Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a regionally accredited college or university. Scholarships are renewable up to 2 years. Applicant must be nominated by a member of the Scholarship Committee at Trinity River Mission.
