The Winston-Salem Foundation Emma Kapp Ogburn Memorial Fund

The Emma Kapp Ogburn Memorial Fund was established in September 1946 by S.C. Ogburn as a memorial to his wife, Mrs. Emma Kapp Ogburn to provide scholars hips to Forsyth County residents of the Methodist denomination who will pursue education for the Methodist ministry or Christian education. The scholarship may provide non-renewable awards of varying amounts based on available income of the fund. Scholarships will be applied to the cost of tuition, fees, room and board and other college expenses.


To receive consideration, applicants must:
- Be residents of Forsyth County
- Be of the Methodist denomination
- Be devoted to service in the field of Christian education
