  • Scholarship Description
  • Eight scholarships in the amount of $10,000 each will be awarded to student veterans pursuing a degree in the field of computer science. Scholarship recipients will also be invited to attend Google's Summer Annual Scholars' Retreat. Applicants for the Google SVA Scholarship for Student Veterans must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at a university for the upcoming academic year/intend to be enrolled in or accepted as a full-time student at the university in the United States for the upcoming academic year. Students should be pursuing a computer science or computer engineering degree, or a degree in a closely related technical field and be a current student veteran (includes members of the National Guard or Reserve). Must have received an honorable discharge or be in good standing with your unit and transcript. A 300-500 word essay must also be included along with the application.
