  • Scholarship Description
  • The Illinois AMVETS Service Foundation supports a scholarship program each year that provides graduating Illinois high school students a scholarship for their continued education. This one-year scholarship varies in its amount on a yearly basis.

    To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant must:
    -Be an Illinois high school senior
    -Be a child or grandchild of a veteran of the United States of America who served after September 15, 1940
    -Was honorably discharged or is presently serving in the military
    -Have taken the ACT or SAT

Nike gear will not be worn by athletes at The College of the Ozarks following the company's latest ads featuring Colin Kaepernick, claiming it would "choose its country over company."
