The Operation Second Chance Scholarship is offered to unmarried, dependent children of deceased, wounded, injured, or ill veterans in their senior year of high school. The dependent child must be seeking an advanced degree from an accredited college or a certification from an accredited vocational or technical institution. The sponsoring veteran is required to have a VA disability combat related rating of 70% or higher or deceased from injuries related to combat deployment.
The OSC Scholarship Program seeks to further the organization’s mission of support for wounded, ill, and injured service members/veterans and their families through need-based dependent financial assistance grants, to aid in the pursuit of higher education. OSC scholarship award recipients reflect a character befitting the sacrifices made by their sponsoring service members.
