I did apply, I hope to win and if not there’s always more opportunities. You win some you lose some.

Lily G.  on 1/23/2021 3:45:21 PM

Yes I am about to apply for this scholarship because it seems cool.

jennifer deleon  on 1/6/2021 8:35:00 AM

I believe this scholarship can inform students and motivate them to do research on the 2nd amendment. I fell like even though its $1000 dollars, we need to apply because we could use this for college books since they are a lot of money as well as other college expenses.

Peter H  on 12/28/2020 7:06:16 PM

Yes, I've applied for this scholarship to help me financially for school.

Evan L  on 12/22/2020 9:41:02 AM

I am applying for this scholarship and working on finalizing my paper now. This topic has made me really think deep down. I hope to win to help pay for college expenses , but I learned a lot through my own experiences and research.

There are a ton of student out there writing this essay right now, I’m sure of it. This essay isn’t a competition for me, it’s a chance to prove to myself that I can succeed. And if I don’t, this easy is a beckoning to keep going.

I think that the second amendment is very important to our country, and without it we will eventually fall to something that we wouldn't be able to stop

This scholarship is a good opportunity to share and exchange thoughts and opinions, it is an open space for free speech, and for a constructive debate between us the future generation. The purpose is not only to get the money but is about expressing our opinions.

Edward Lee Flores  on 12/11/2020 2:06:08 PM

I personally want to advocate more for how my Constitutional rights represent me and I feel like this is the perfect scholarship to do just that!

Tikvah C  on 12/4/2020 1:52:15 PM

The second amendment is the only thing keeping the left from taking away all of our freedoms and rights. we need to be able to protect ourselves. I hope there isn't a bias on this because I'm going to enter and express why this amendment is so important.

Drayton D.  on 10/2/2020 8:58:44 AM

I would apply for this scholarship...but why? There are probably thousands of students with writing abilities much better than mine and for what? $1000 to add to my already heaping mountain of predicted student loan debt because I KNOW I can't afford college.

Trinity B  on 9/21/2020 7:03:08 PM

This essay sounds like a good opportunity to help myself understand more about civil rights and good chance to win this scholarship. I'm so excited to get started on it. :)

Egypt B.  on 8/4/2020 9:50:47 AM

This Scholarship seems intresting and cool because you can see what other people think about the second amedment.

Michael L  on 10/22/2019 6:28:10 PM

If we had the right to own semiautomatic type rifles repealed, then nothing is holding the socialist left back from taxing the life out of us.

Caden B  on 12/5/2018 7:54:44 AM

Bias or not this scholarship is asking what the 2nd amendment means to you, not what do you think this means to everyone else.

kadija u  on 11/27/2018 7:01:12 PM

if you repeated a grade would it still be possible for you to participate in the contest

Rachel S  on 11/10/2018 9:51:19 AM

of course they’re only going to pick the essays which conform to their beliefs for the scholarship. i would apply if i knew bias would not be involved.

Sy'rai I  on 10/22/2018 11:26:02 AM

University to Give New Students Free Laptops for Filing the FAFSA

April 6, 2021

by Izzy Hall

The coronavirus made laptops a necessity for college students. Where before students without personal computers or laptops could use on-campus computers and provided software to meet the technological needs of their courses, the shift last spring to online classes necessitated that students have a stable internet connection and a compatible device. While the majority of students were able to meet this requirement, according to a study by EDUCASE, some students found themselves without a modern laptop that could run the most up-to-date browser, use RAM-heavy software or keep up even with reliable high-speed Wi-Fi. One university has announced a unique remedy for this technical situation. [...]
