Science Without Borders Challenge

Award Amount: $500
Deadline: April 20, 2020
Scholarship Description: Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation's Science without Borders Challenge is an international art competition that encourages students to pursue the preservation, protection, and restoration of the world's oceans and aquatic resources.

Brower Youth Award

Award Amount: $3,000
Deadline: May 1, 2020
Scholarship Description: Earth Island Institute established The Brower Youth Award for Environmental Leadership in 2000 to honor renowned environmental advocate David Brower. Youth environmental change leaders ages 13 to 22 are encouraged to apply.

RTK Scholars Program

Award Amount: $1,500
Deadline: May 31, 2020
Scholarship Description: RTK Environmental Group offers a scholarship to students who study environmental science, biology, engineering, or a related physical science major.

Ocean Awareness Student Contest

Award Amount: $1,500
Deadline: June 15, 2020
Scholarship Description: The Ocean Awareness Contest is a call for young artists, conservationists, makers, thinkers, and activists who are concerned about the future of our blue planet.

WWF Conservation Leadership Award

Award Amount: $5,000
Deadline: July 17, 2020
Scholarship Description: The WWF Conservation Leadership Award recognizes and celebrates youth leaders in their community who are pushing the needle and making outstanding contributions for the environment—leading initiatives across issues including climate change mitigation, wildlife conservation, food waste, and habitat protection.

AXA Achievement Scholarship

Award Amount: $25,000
Deadline: December 14, 2020
Scholarship Description: The AXA Achievement Scholarship provides over $1.4 million in scholarships to young people throughout the nation with special consideration given to achievements that empower society to mitigate risk through education and/or action in areas such as financial, environmental, health, safety and/or emergency preparedness.

Apprentice Ecologist Scholarship

Award Amount: $500
Deadline: December 31, 2020
Scholarship Description: The Apprentice Ecologist Initiative awards three scholarships to the authors of the three best Apprentice Ecologist essays.
