The Appalachian Chapter of the AADE is offering five $2,000 scholarships for the coming academic year to encourage high school seniors to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry. The scholarships are targeted toward students planning to major in engineering (petroleum, chemical, mechanical, environmental, civil) or other energy industry-related fields. The awards are based on academic excellence, financial need, and extenuating circumstances.
Scholarship Details
- Number of scholarships: Three
- Award amount: $2,500 (2 awards) and $5,000 (1 award)

Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college in Pennsylvania, Ohio, or West Virginia
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must submit a fully completed and signed AADE Scholarship Application

- Complete the AADE Scholarship Application form.
- Gather proof of GPA, test scores, and college acceptance.
- Prepare a statement demonstrating financial need or extenuating circumstances (if applicable).
- Submit the completed application and supporting documents via email to Josh Doak by May 15.
