Scholarship Description

Adobe will award ten annual college scholarships, up to $25,000 USD per year, for each recipient (up to $100,000 USD total over four years). The focus of the Adobe Design Circle scholarship is interaction design. Our applicants and recipients are focused on pursuing UX, UI, or product design as careers, citing the power of design to solve problems and provide solutions for people and communities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be planning to enroll in an accredited college or university undergraduate program
  • Open to students of all nationalities
  • Proof of acceptance required before scholarship funds are disbursed
  • No GPA minimum, but academic and extracurricular record must show potential to succeed
  • Intended field of study must relate to design, product design, experience design, or digital design

Application Process

  1. Visit Adobe.com to check if the Design Circle Scholarship is accepting applications and review eligibility details
  2. Complete the online application form in full before the posted deadline
  3. Submit a written or video personal statement (approximately 500 words or up to three minutes)
  4. Provide an estimate of expected tuition and fee expenses
  5. Include two reference letters from non-family members familiar with your abilities or character
  6. Upload your high school transcript and, if applicable, college/university transcripts
  7. Submit a portfolio of up to three examples of design work, either through personal websites or third-party platforms such as Behance, YouTube, or Dropbox
  8. Wait for Adobe to notify applicants of their selection results; recipients must confirm enrollment at an accredited institution before funds are released

Applicants do not need to be accepted into an undergraduate program at the time of application, but if selected for a scholarship, proof of acceptance will be required before scholarship funds can be sent. While there is no minimum grade requirement to apply for this scholarship, an applicant’s academic and extracurricular record must show potential to succeed in a college/university program in their intended field of study.
