Scholarship Description

Through endowments made by AGC members and supporters, as well as AGC Chapters, the Foundation is able to give 150 or more undergraduate and graduate scholarships each year to deserving students. Undergraduate students receive up to $2,500 per academic year (renewable for 3 years) and Graduate students receive $3,750 per academic year (renewable up to 2 years).

Scholarship Details

  • Awards up to $2,500 per student per academic year, or up to $1,250 for a half-semester
  • Renewable for up to three additional years, provided eligibility requirements continue to be met
  • Supports students pursuing bachelor's degrees in construction management or construction-related engineering
  • Available to students enrolled in qualifying ABET, ACCE, and selected ATMAE-accredited programs

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a rising college sophomore, junior in a four-year program, or rising senior in a five-year program when the scholarship is awarded
  • Junior and senior applicants must have at least one full academic year of coursework remaining at the application deadline
  • Second-year students at a two-year college who plan to transfer to a qualifying four-year program for the following fall term are eligible
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a documented permanent resident of the United States

Application Process

  1. Complete and submit the online scholarship application before the deadline
  2. Request an online evaluation from a college faculty member or an employment supervisor
  3. Submit an official or unofficial college transcript that clearly identifies both the institution and your name.
  4. Proofread all application materials carefully, as spelling and grammar are considered during the review process.
  5. Verify that all required documents have been submitted before the deadline, as incomplete applications will not be reviewed
