The Alabama Environmental Health Association (AEHA), Inc. awards a scholarship each year to a junior or senior undergraduate student. To be eligible, applicants must be Alabama residents and either: be pursuing a degree in environmental health; be pursuing a degree with a minimum 20 semester hours of course work in biology, chemistry, environmental science, mathematics or physical science; or be pursuing a degree in any field but has a parent who is a current AEHA member. In addition to completing the application, appplicants must also submit proof of Alabama residency, a current unofficial transcript and an essay (300 words maximum) explaining what environmental health means to them.
