Scholarship Description

The Albers-Alexander LGBTQ Law Scholarship Fund is interested in supporting LGBTQ persons who are pursuing a law school degree. Students must be a first, second, or third-year law students attending one of the law schools we have selected for the program.

Scholarship Details

  • Provides up to $10,000 per recipient for the current academic year
  • Aims to support LGBTQ law students facing barriers to higher education

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a first-year, second-year, or third-year law student
  • Must be enrolled at one of the following institutions:

    • Santa Clara University, School of Law (Santa Clara, CA)
    • University of California at Berkeley, School of Law (Berkeley, CA)
    • University of California at Davis, School of Law (Davis, CA)
    • The University of California College of the Law (San Francisco, CA)
    • University of Wisconsin Law School (Madison, WI)
  • Applicants should demonstrate leadership and advocacy for the LGBTQ community
  • Preference given to applicants facing financial need and barriers to educational access

Application Process

  4. Submit the scholarship application before the specified deadline
