AAUW-San José is committed to advancing gender equity and supporting women in higher education by alleviating the financial burden of college expenses. Last year alone, AAUW-SJ awarded over $150,000 in scholarships to 19 local students.
Scholarship Details

- Intended for women pursuing their junior or senior year at a four-year institution

Eligibility Criteria
- Permanent home address in Campbell, San José, Milpitas or Santa Clara
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in college coursework
- Enrollment as a junior or senior in a four-year institution
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application form
- Provide an official college transcript verifying GPA requirements
- Write a personal statement outlining educational goals and achievements
- Obtain and submit one letter of recommendation
