An important goal of the American Sports Builders Foundation is the support and development of the next generation of leaders in the sports design and construction industry by providing scholarships for students engaged in secondary programs that promote and support this industry.
Scholarship Details
- Supports students pursuing studies related to the sports design and construction industry
- Judges consider academic success, interest, special abilities, financial need, and relevance of career goals to the industry
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a program supporting the sports design and construction industry
- Must be a graduating high school senior, current undergrad or a technical school student
- Must have graduated from high school or its equivalent by July 1 of the scholarship year
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application form
- Prepare and submit all required documents by the deadline
- Include the following documents:
- A transcript of grades and credits (high school and any collegiate institutions attended)
- A letter of intent describing future plans related to the sports design and construction industry
- A letter of recommendation from an employer or professional with whom you have worked
- A letter of recommendation from a teacher, professor, or education professional
- Ensure all materials are received by the deadline for consideration
Judges will consider academic success, interest, special abilities, financial need, and other factors in choosing scholarship recipients. The judges will give consideration to the degree in which the career choice could have an application to the sports design and construction industry.
