Application Process
- Submit two letters of recommendation: one from a school staff member and another from someone aware of your animal welfare efforts
- Ensure recommendations highlight your commitment to animal welfare and academic abilities
- Apply between December 1st and March 16th (11:30 p.m. ET)
- Prepare to provide confirmation of college or university acceptance if selected as a finalist
A committee from the Animal Welfare Institute will review applications and choose recipients who have a strong track record of advocating for animals and an impressive and clear plan to continue working to reduce the human-inflicted suffering of animals. This committee will also review and confirm the required letters of recommendation.
