Scholarship Description

The Anne Ford Scholarship is a $10,000 award granted to a high school senior with a documented learning disability who is enrolling in a four-year college or university. This scholarship supports students with learning disabilities as they pursue higher education and long-term career goals. Applicants must provide documentation of their diagnosis and respond to personal questions in their application.

Scholarship Details

  • $10,000 scholarship awarded to one recipient
  • Funds distributed over four years ($2,500 annually)
  • Supports students pursuing a full-time bachelor’s degree program
  • Must be used at an accredited four-year college or university
  • Applicants must submit FAFSA information and Estimated Family Contribution (EFC)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a graduating high school senior
  • Must be accepted to or enrolling in a full-time four-year undergraduate program
  • Must have a documented learning disability (LD), including dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, specific learning disability, or reading/writing/math disabilities
  • Students with co-occurring conditions (e.g., Autism, ADHD) are eligible if they also have a qualifying LD

Application Process

  1. Complete the online Anne Ford Scholarship application
  2. Submit documentation verifying a diagnosed learning disability
  3. Provide FAFSA and Estimated Family Contribution (EFC)
  4. Submit at least one letter of recommendation
  5. Respond to three personal questions via text, video, or audio format
  6. Ensure all materials are submitted before the application deadline
