To be eligible for the Antonia Brancia Maxon, Ph.D. Memorial Scholarship, applicants must: be a resident of the State of Connecticut (copy of driver’s license required if attending a doctoral program out of state) or attending an audiology doctoral program in the state of Connecticut; be a current third-year student enrolled full-time; and submit two letters of recommendation that describe clinical and academic abilities, as well as a transcript.
The winner will be notified by email and a letter and the award will be mailed to the recipient's home address. While there are no restrictions on how the money is to be spent, the intent is for it to be used toward education. Antonia Brancia Maxon Memorial Scholarship has been established to recognize a Doctor of Audiology student who best embodies the integrity, commitment, and professionalism that Dr. Toni Maxon exemplified to her patients, students, and peers over the years as a professor and audiologist.
