Students in the United States who identify as Christian Arab Americans are eligible to earn renewable awards from the Antoon and Nita Haboush Foundation Scholarship program
Eligibility
- U.S. resident
- High school senior or high school graduate, current undergraduate or graduate student
- Must plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school
- Must demonstrate financial need
Scholarships from the Antoon and Nita Haboush Foundation are renewable for up to three years, or until a degree is completed, whichever comes first, as long as recipients continue to meet eligibility and performance standards.
Awards
The number of awards and award amounts will be determined by Sponsor selection committee.
Selection
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
- Academic record
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
- Work experience
- A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
- Unusual personal or family circumstances
- An online recommendation
Application Requirements
Applicants must provide a current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken
If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. If you are uploading a college transcript, those scores are not required.
