Each year, the Ari's Bears Scholarship is awarded to a survivor of childhood cancer or the sibling advocate of a childhood cancer survivor. Current college students and graduating high school seniors may apply.

Eligibility Criteria
- Current college student or graduating high school senior
- Pediatric cancer survivor (or sibling of) with diagnostic documents
- Records of community service and advocacy in the area of childhood cancer
- Minimum GPA of 2.0
Application Process
- Complete the application form and 800-1,500 word essay
- Gather required documents, including:
- Academic transcripts
- Physician's verification of diagnosis
- 2 non-relative letters of recommendation
- Proof of college enrollment (as soon as it is available)
- A photograph of yourself
- Submit the application form and email all supplemental documents to the scholarship committee by the deadline
The Ari's Bears Scholarship honors Ariella Stein, who was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma as a young child and passed away at the age of 11. Before her passing, she created the Ari's Bears charity to deliver teddy bears to pediatric hospital patients. Since 2018, more than 2,000 plushies have been delivered through this initiative.
