Scholarship Description

Arizona Antelope Foundation is offering scholarships for college juniors, seniors, and graduate students pursuing degree programs in wildlife sciences. Candidate must be either an Undergraduate Junior or Senior OR Graduate Student for the academic year in which the scholarship will be awarded

Scholarship Details

  • Two scholarships awarded annually
  • $1,000 per recipient
  • Funds distributed upon enrollment

Eligibility Criteria

  • Undergraduate junior or senior or graduate student during the award year
  • Enrolled full time for the fall semester or quarter
  • Arizona resident or attending college in Arizona
  • Pursuing a degree in wildlife science or a closely related field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Preference given to students with conservation-related internships or volunteer experience
  • Two letters of recommendation from professional or educational references
  • Submission of unofficial academic transcripts

Application Process

  1. Complete the scholarship application between January 1 and March 31
  2. Submit unofficial college transcripts
  3. Provide two letters of recommendation from non-family professional or academic references
  4. Write and upload required essays addressing degree choice, conservation interest, career goals, and scholarship merit
  5. Include descriptions and contact information for any conservation-related internships or volunteer experiences
  6. Applications open January 1st and close March 31st
  7. Recipients notified by June 15th
  8. Recipient acceptance due by June 30th

Applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee. Top applications will be selected by the AAF board of directors. Eligibility exceptions at the discretion of the committee. Funds to be dispersed to the student’s account at their university to pay for tuition, fees, housing, etc.
