Art in Action believes every child should have access to a quality art education. To support this mission, the Art in Action Scholarship Fund provides comprehensive art programming—including curriculum, materials, and educator support—to K–8 schools and youth programs with demonstrated need. This scholarship enables up to three classrooms per recipient site to implement engaging, standards-aligned art lessons throughout the school year.
Scholarship Details
- Includes curriculum access for up to 3 classrooms per scholarship award
- 12 art lessons per grade per school year with all supplies provided
- Orientation and training for educators and/or classroom volunteers
- Ongoing support from Art in Action staff throughout the school year
- Access to online, grade-level, core-subject integrated curriculum
Eligibility Criteria
- K–8 schools or youth programs not currently using Art in Action
- Must be designated as Title I or be able to demonstrate financial need
- Must submit a signed letter of commitment to implement the program during the 2025–2026 school year
Application Process
- Submit a complete application by April 11th
- Participate in an interview with a scholarship committee member
- Provide contact information for each participating teacher or volunteer
- Submit a mid-year report by January 31st
- Submit a final report by May 31st
