The Legacy Scholarship is open to all students in their junior or senior year of undergraduate study enrolled in at least a three-year accredited program of interior design.
Scholarship Details
- Award amount is $4,000
- Application period is February 15th to April 15th
- The scholarship recognizes academic accomplishment and creative achievement
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be undergraduate students in their junior or senior year
- Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited interior design program that is at least three years in length
- Applicants must submit design work demonstrating solutions that positively impact occupant well-being
Application Process
- Prepare a design portfolio containing 8 to 12 pages of work that demonstrate design solutions that positively impact occupant well-being
- Write a portfolio statement of no more than 500 words
- Prepare a personal statement and biographical statement
- Obtain a letter of recommendation
- Request an unofficial transcript or other acceptable proof of enrollment
- Prepare a headshot for submission
- Submit the completed application and all required materials
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic accomplishment, creative achievement, and personal statement. The jury will evaluate entries on academic record, presentation skills, design and planning competency, and conceptual creativity.
