Each year, the Aspen Thrift Shop offers up to $15,000 to high school seniors in the Roaring Fork Valley region who demonstrate financial need, academic excellence, extracurricular involvement, and community service.
Scholarship Details
- Need-based with some consideration to merit
- Award amounts may vary based on number of recipients, typically 5-11 each year
- Recipients are not required to attend college in Colorado
Eligibility Criteria
- Demonstrated financial need
- Academic excellence and extracurricular involvement, including public service
- Roaring Fork Valley resident
- High school senior at
- Aspen High School,
- Basalt High School, or
- Roaring Fork High School
Application Process
- Submit the FAFSA in advance of the deadline
- Pick up the scholarship application from your high school counselor
- Complete your application and submit it before March 1st, including all required documents
The Aspen Thrift Shop reserves $75,000 to distribute in the form of scholarships every year.
