ACWA is the largest statewide coalition of public water agencies in the country. Our more than 460 public agency members collectively are responsible for 90% of the water delivered to cities, farms and businesses in California. For more than a century, our mission has been clear: To provide comprehensive leadership, advocacy and resources for California public water agencies to ensure a high quality and reliable water supply in an environmentally sustainable and fiscally responsible manner. Each year through the ACWA Scholarship Program, ACWA awards scholarships to qualified undergraduate students.
To be eligible for the ACWA Scholarship, applicants must: be attending an accredited public or private U.S. college, at the start of the academic year covered by the scholarship; be pursuing a graduate degree (Masters, PhD, or Law School) in water law and policy or public administration with a demonstrated concentration in the field of water resources; commit to either part-time or full-time enrollment (5-10 units for part-time enrollment and 12-25 units for full-time enrollment); and submit two letters of recommendation, transcripts and an essay (no more than 1,000 words).
