Scholarship Description

The CSI Atlanta Chapter Foundation provides an annual scholarship to qualified students who are pursuing a post-secondary education in the field of architecture, building science, construction-related engineering disciplines, interior design, or other construction-related, nationally accredited Bachelor’s Degree programs.

Scholarship Details

  • Academic scholarships for freshman and sophomore college students in A/E/C-related degree programs
  • Certification scholarships supporting professional credentials including CDT, CCCA, CCPR, and CCS
  • Five $500 certification scholarships awarded annually
  • Membership service grants providing one year of Atlanta CSI Chapter membership
  • Five $375 membership service grants awarded annually
  • Leadership service grants supporting participation in CSI regional and national conferences
  • Three $500 leadership service grants awarded annually

Eligibility Criteria

  • Enrollment in an architecture, engineering, construction science, design, or specification-related field
  • Eligible degree programs include architecture, building science, construction-related engineering, interior design, operations management, project management, construction technology, construction management, supply chain management, drafting, and manufacturing engineering
  • Students pursuing other degree programs aligned with the A/E/C space may be considered with prior approval
  • Academic scholarship applicants must be freshman or sophomore students
  • Membership service grants are available to college students or professionals within their first three years in the A/E/C field

The CSI Atlanta Chapter Foundation awards this scholarship to encourage and assist students majoring in these chosen fields of study so that they may, in turn, continue to further the goals and exemplify the ideals and mission of the Construction Specifications Institute, which is to advance building information management and education of project teams to improve facility performance.
