Hamilton County Residents (17 years old or older) can apply for this one-time $1000 scholarship for any higher education program. Whether it is for a university or certification program, awardee can use this scholarship (paid directly to the school or program) to pay for their tuition.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a Hamilton County resident
- Applicant must be at least 17 years old
- Involvement in clubs or organizations is required
- Volunteer activities and employment in the past year must be documented
- Three referral letters, a thirty second introduction video, a written essay, and the online application form are required

Avon-Miami Lodge #542 with their partner charity, Avon Miami Charities, will decide the winner by the end of March and award presented by the end of June. Awardees will be invited to the Avon-Miami Lodge #542 Awards event to accept the award.
