The scholarship was created in memory of Angelo Nania Jr., who passed away in 2019 due to complications from Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vEDS). Our Vision and Mission as a non-profit organization is being committed to raising awareness and funds while we fight and pray future trials yield a successful treatment to manage vEDS, not only for our family members, but for every single person and family affected by this condition.
Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant or their parent/guardian must have a confirmed diagnosis of vEDS
- Must provide written documentation of the vEDS diagnosis
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a college, trade, or technical school
- Must provide proof of a valid U.S. address
Application Process

- Complete all sections of the online application form
- Submit a personal essay in response to the provided prompt
- Upload a copy of your current or upcoming school schedule
- Provide documentation of vEDS diagnosis and proof of U.S. address
A committee will review all applications received and read through the essay’s and/or reels then a decision will be made based on all criteria being met and a consensus of the Scholarship Committee. Keep in mind ALL information will be verified.
