The Beta Sigma Psi - University of Illinois Christian Leadership Award is a $3,000 scholarship given out to a Christian male freshman attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the upcoming Fall. Runner-ups may have the opportunity to be eligible for $1,000. There is no obligation to join Beta Sigma Psi to receive this award.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Christian male
- Must be a freshman at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the upcoming Fall
Application Process
- Provide personal information
- Detail current educational status
- Discuss future educational plans
- Describe community and church involvement
- Write an essay on "What does being a Christian gentleman mean to you, and how do you strive to live up to these values?"
- Scholarship finalists will be invited for an in-person interview at the chapter house
The application consists of 5 parts: Personal Information, Current Education, Future Education, Community and Church Involvement, and Essay. Scholarship finalists will be invited for an in-person interview at the chapter house near the end of March.
