Bill Banke taught biology in the Alexandria School District for 31 years. His love and appreciation for hunting, fishing and conservation lead to establishing the Junior Viking Sportsmen’s Club, culturing young men and women to understand the value of our wetlands and eco systems. He was fundamental to many local projects, which included establishing the local goose population, building wood duck houses, and was a leader in both the Viking Sportsmen and Evansville Sportsmen clubs.
