Scholarship Description

The BLM² Scholarship Foundation program is designed to address the financial needs of minority college students and award outstanding high school graduates who plan to earn a baccalaureate degree from an accredited, four-year college or university with financial assistance.

Scholarship Details

  • Financial award to be used at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university
  • Scholarship check will be sent directly to the college/university
  • Applicants must submit complete school contact and address details for check disbursement

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a minority student (e.g., African American, Hispanic, Asian or Pacific American, or Alaska Native)
  • Must be a graduating high school senior in the year of the award
  • Must be a permanent U.S. citizen
  • Must plan to attend an accredited college or university within the United States
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be enrolled full-time for the upcoming fall academic semester

Application Process

  1. Complete and submit the official BLM² Foundation application form
  2. Submit a completed essay on the designated topic
  3. Provide an activity sheet outlining extracurricular and leadership involvement
  4. Include one letter of recommendation in a sealed envelope
  5. Submit an official high school transcript (must be sealed)
  6. Include ACT or SAT score sheet
  7. Provide a copy of your college/university acceptance letter
  8. Submit school information for scholarship payment processing (check address and contact)
  9. Provide your high school’s Office of Admissions contact information (phone and address)

The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the school on behalf of the recipient. The scholarship award will be awarded in full for the fall academic semester. The recipient must provide BLM² Scholarship Foundation official written documentation of full time enrollment status before any scholarship will be paid.
