Scholarship Description

BOC Sciences is proud to have established a Scholarship Program that awards $1,000 once a year to college students who are pursuing a chemistry-related field of study. This scholarship aims to support and empower the next generation of chemists, helping unlock their full potential and make significant contributions to the scientific community.

Scholarship Details

  • One scholarship is awarded annually
  • Scholarship award amount is $1,000
  • Supports students pursuing chemistry and chemistry-related fields of study
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, research or study plans, leadership, and community involvement

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. student at an accredited college or university
  • Must major in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology, or another chemistry-related science
  • Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
  • Must demonstrate strong academic achievement in chemistry or science
  • Must submit all required application materials by the published deadline

Application Process

  1. Complete the official BOC Sciences scholarship application form
  2. Obtain a letter of recommendation from a teacher, school counselor, or community leader
  3. Prepare a current official transcript
  4. Write an original essay of 800 to 1,000 words or create a 10 to 12-slide PowerPoint presentation with detailed lecture notes on one of the approved scientific topics
  5. Review all application materials to ensure they are complete and original
  6. Email the completed application, recommendation letter, transcript, and essay or presentation using the required subject line before October 31st

If you cannot provide a declared field of study or admission documentation by the application deadline, we recommend that you apply for our next scholarship program. If you are selected as the recipient, we will send it to your university to disperse.
