Scholarship Description

Unite2Uplift is proud to offer the Breaking Barriers Scholarship to support Colorado high school seniors and recent graduates in pursuing higher education or vocational training. This scholarship program is designed to alleviate financial burdens for students with limited support systems who are determined to achieve personal growth and upward mobility. Three $1,500 scholarships will be awarded for the upcoming school year to students pursuing either a college degree or trade/vocational certification.

Scholarship Details

  • Three $1,500 scholarships available for the coming school year
  • Open to students pursuing college or trade/vocational education
  • Need-based financial support
  • At least 70% of funds will be sent directly to the student’s educational institution

Eligibility Criteria

  • High school senior or recent graduate in the state of Colorado
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Must demonstrate financial need

Application Process

  1. Complete and submit the Unite2Uplift Scholarship Application
  2. Provide a copy of your high school transcript
  3. Write a 500-word (or less) essay explaining your chosen career path
  4. Submit two letters of recommendation
  5. Participate in a personal interview with the Scholarship Committee
