The Britt Kearce Memorial Scholarship goes beyond simply offering financial aid. It seeks to celebrate Coach Britt Kearce's passion for the game and the positive impact he had on countless players. Through our partnership with Positive Athlete, the scholarship recognizes Georgia high school baseball student-athletes who embody Coach Britt?s values of leadership, character, dedication, and positive impact both on and off the field.
Scholarship Details
- Three $3,000 scholarships awarded each school year
- Open to graduating high school seniors in the Metro-Atlanta area
- Focus on baseball involvement, academic achievement, and community service
- No obligation to play baseball in college
Eligibility Criteria
- Georgia high school student grade 9-12
- Involvement in baseball and community service
- Academic achievement with supporting records
- Letter of recommendation from a current or past baseball coach
Application Process
- A deserving Georgia high school baseball student-athlete is nominated through Positive Athlete.
- Nominees are considered based on their baseball involvement, academic achievement, character, leadership, and impact within their school and community.
- Nominations for the scholarship close April 15th.
