This $2,500 scholarship is designed to empower those pursuing a career in the trades to be resilient and honor Caleb’s drive to succeed in the face of change. These careers are challenging, rewarding, valuable, and resilient in the face of changing technology. At the end of the day, a tradesperson is someone who builds, creates, and fixes with their own two hands. These careers are challenging, rewarding, and deeply valuable. They represent resilience in a changing world. At their core, trades are about building, creating, and fixing—working with your hands to make a tangible impact.

Scholarship Details

  • Award amount: $2,500
  • Designed for students pursuing a career in skilled trades
  • Applicants must submit a video essay reflecting on their passion for skilled trades
  • Selection based on clarity, authenticity, and thoughtfulness in the video essay

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 2.7 GPA
  • High school graduate or current college student
  • Demonstrated connection to Colorado (either raised in Colorado or planning to live, study, or complete trade training in Colorado)
  • Currently attending or accepted to a trade school
  • Currently attending or accepted to an undergraduate skilled trade program
