The California Credit Union Foundation and North Island Credit Union Foundation Student Scholarship Program awards financial support to students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement. If you are a student, or know an eligible student, apply for our Student Scholarship for a chance to be awarded $1,000 towards your education.
Scholarship Details
- Thirty scholarships awarded in the amount of $1,000 each
- Twenty scholarships funded by the California Credit Union Foundation
- Ten scholarships funded by the North Island Credit Union Foundation
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a California or North Island Credit Union member or dependent of a California or North Island Credit Union member
- Graduating college-bound high school senior enrolling into a two- or four-year college OR community college student transferring into a four-year university
- Minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA)
- Evidence of community and/or school involvement
Application Process
- Confirm eligibility based on membership, academic standing, and enrollment plans
- Complete the student scholarship application
- Provide required academic and involvement information
- Submit the completed application by Friday, March 6th
- Monitor email or official announcements for winner notification
Our scholarship recipients also give back to others through their participation, service and volunteer work within their local communities. Since the creation of the program, the credit union has awarded more than $455,000 in scholarships to students across Southern California.
