Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a full-time student who has completed at least one full year at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States
- Only sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to apply
- Must be majoring in aviation or an equivalent field
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5

The Captain Jason Dahl Scholarship Fund was established the day after the national tragedy, and grew to a respectable sum within the first few months, thanks to the outpouring of support from family, friends, and other generous Americans.
