The Bedford County Arts Council is dedicated to supporting all areas of the arts. The Arts Council will award a scholarship to a deserving high school senior each year in the amount of $1,000, in the areas of Visual Arts, Creative Writing, Music, Theatrical Arts, or Dance. Seniors from any high school in Bedford County, TN may apply.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a high school senior attending school in Bedford County, Tennessee
- Applicant must plan to pursue a degree in one of the eligible arts disciplines
- Non-residents of Bedford County, Tennessee are not eligible

- Write an essay of up to 750 words describing what the arts have meant to you
