- Nine scholarships are awarded
- Each scholarship provides a one-time award of $1,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a resident of Idaho
- Must be of Hispanic origin
- Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Must be pursuing an academic major
- Must be entering college as a freshman in the fall
- Must not have received this scholarship in prior years
Application Process
- Complete the Community Council of Idaho Scholarship Fund application
- Prepare a one-page essay or personal statement describing your educational and career goals, career interests, and motivation for choosing your intended career
- Include information about your current community involvement and plans for staying engaged in the future
- Obtain three letters of recommendation
- Submit a copy of your high school transcripts
