Scholarship Description

The Center for Cyber Safety and Education’s academic scholarship program provides scholarships to Associates, Undergraduate and Graduate students pursuing degrees in cybersecurity or information assurance. Awards are $3,000 USD for Associates students and $5,000 USD for Undergraduate and Graduate students. This scholarship helps cover tuition, fees, books and required materials for students dedicated to advancing their education and career in cybersecurity.

Scholarship Details

  • Applications open January 15th and close on March 15th at 11:59 PM EST
  • Up to 20 scholarships awarded annually
  • Awards are $3,000 for Associates and $5,000 for Undergraduate and Graduate awards
  • Funds are sent directly to recipients’ educational institutions
  • Scholarship is not renewable; applicants must reapply each year

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be pursuing, or plan to pursue, a degree with a focus on cybersecurity, information assurance or similar field.
  • Must be pursuing one of the following degree types:

    • two (2) year associate's degree
    • four (4) year bachelor's degree
    • Master’s degree
    • Doctoral program (PhD)
  • GPA must be at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • You may be a citizen of any country (US citizenship not required)
  • May be attending on campus or online
  • May be attending full time or part time
  • May be attending in the US or internationally
  • Must plan to be enrolled in the upcoming fall semester

Application Process

  1. Click apply and log in to our scholarship platform, CommunityForce.
  2. Fill out the application which includes:

    • Financial information
    • Fit assessment
    • Three short answer essay questions
  3. Email us if you have any questions or issues.

Not all applicants will receive a scholarship. Scholarships are a one-time award and must be re-applied for each year in order to be considered for another scholarship.
