To honor the legacy of our friend and fellow FIBCA member for over 30 years, an annual $5,000 scholarship has been established. The Cindy Finley Memorial Scholarship (CFMS) to Support Women in the Packaging Industry will be awarded for the upcoming school year to a woman looking to pursue a career in the packaging industry.
Scholarship Details
- $5,000 scholarship awarded annually.
- Open to women pursuing a career in the packaging industry.
- Applicants will be assessed based on career goals, academic performance, and recommendation letters.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a woman pursuing a career in the packaging industry.
- Applicants may be asked to provide additional information or participate in a web conference.
Application Process
- Fill out the FIBCA Application Form.
- Write a one-page essay describing your academic and career goals, why you are suited to achieve them, and what led you in this career direction.
- Provide an official copy of your current transcript.
- Submit two letters of recommendation from instructors, supervisors, or managers (not related to you).
- Ensure that all documents and information are submitted by the deadline.
Applicants will be assessed according to the criteria set by the FIBCA Selection Committee and the FIBCA Board of Directors. Only completed applications accompanied by all supporting documents will be considered. Applicants may be requested to submit further information or participate in a web conference upon request.
