College Now Greater Cleveland is the oldest postsecondary education access organization in the U.S., with the mission to increase postsecondary education attainment in Northeast Ohio through college and career access advising, financial aid counseling and scholarship and retention services. Serving more than 30,000 people each year, College Now has helped students pursue educational opportunities that empower them to embark on rewarding careers, which in turn, strengthens our community’s economy.
Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria
- Member of the high school graduating class for the coming Spring
- Attend a high school served by College Now
- Minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 2.5 through the first semester of senior year
- Minimum ACT composite score of 18 or combined SAT verbal and math score of 960
- Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher may be considered without meeting test score requirements
- Filed the FAFSA and FAFSA Submission Summary
- Qualify for the Federal Pell Grant
- Demonstrate engagement and ambition by working with a College Now advisor
Application Process
- Confirm eligibility and enrollment at a College Now served high school
- Work with your College Now advisor throughout the application process
- Complete and submit the FAFSA
- Gather and upload all required documentation
- Submit the complete scholarship application by March 11th
Students that do not meet test score criteria but have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher will be considered for select awards. If you attend the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, log into your Say Yes Portal to start the application.
