The College Women’s Club Scholarship Program is made possible by the generous College Women’s Club members who have a passion for advancing the educational pathways for women. To date, CWC has awarded more than $1.3 million to 680 women. In 2016, the Club entrusted its $1.2 million endowment to the Pasadena Community Foundation (PCF) for management, while Club members continue to raise funds and select scholarship recipients.
Scholarship Details
- Provides financial assistance to more than a dozen full-time women students annually

- Eligible schools include:
- Art Center College of Design
- East Los Angeles College
- Glendale Community College
- Pacific Oaks College (Pasadena campus only)
- Pasadena City College
- California State University Los Angeles (College of Education; College of Engineering, Computer Science & Technology; School of Nursing; School of Criminal Justice & Criminalistics)
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a woman pursuing full-time undergraduate or graduate studies
- Must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or registered DACA student
- Must currently reside in California (preferably Los Angeles County or nearby counties)
- Eligible community college students may apply if planning to transfer to a four-year accredited institution next year
- Undergraduates must be sophomores or higher and be moving into full-time junior or senior status for the award year
- Graduate students must meet their program’s full-time enrollment requirements during the award year
Application Process
- Verify that you attend one of the eligible schools listed by the College Women’s Club of Pasadena
- Ensure you meet GPA, residency, citizenship, and enrollment status requirements
- Complete the CWC scholarship application through the designated platform when available
- Prepare academic transcripts, documentation of enrollment status, and any required personal statements or materials
- Submit all application components by the stated deadline
- Await notification from the College Women’s Club of Pasadena regarding selection and award details
