Colorado Women's Education Foundation (CWEF) is a 501(c)3 that awards scholarships to women of nontraditional age. CWEF depends entirely on donations and wants to do more to empower women. Since its inception, CWEF has awarded nearly 700 scholarships to women totaling more than half a million dollars.
Eligibility
- Applicant identifies as a woman
- Must be at least 25 years old by April 30th
- Colorado resident for at least 12 months
- Must reside in Colorado while earning degree
- Must be enrolled in or attending an accredited college or university
- Applicant can be earning a certification or any type of degree
- Applicant must provide transcript with GPA
Eligible applicants must demonstrate financial need, academic ability, leadership skills, career goals, and community involvement.
