Scholarship Description

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in our region through resource development, community grantmaking, collaboration and public leadership. We help donors achieve their philanthropic goals through professional management and investment of charitable funds. We work with nonprofit organizations to help them fulfill their missions through fund administration, grantmaking and learning opportunities. We award scholarships to deserving students to help them achieve their educational goals. The total number of awards and the dollar amounts will vary by each scholarship.

The Community Foundation of the Ozarks is proud to administer scholarships as a service to the greater community. Most of our scholarship programs are for graduating high school seniors. However, a substantial number are available to students currently enrolled in college/university or considering post-graduate study. Eligibility for Community Foundation of the Ozarks' scholarships is most often determined by residency in a particular town or county. Some scholarships programs are open to any eligible student in the Missouri Ozarks - defined as south of the Missouri River/outside of the Kansas City and St. Louis metropolitan areas; others have special criteria established by donors, organizations, institutions or businesses.
