To be eligible for the Connecticut Academy of Audiology Scholarship, applicants must: be a resident of the State of Connecticut (copy of driver’s license required if attending a doctoral program out of state) or attending an audiology doctoral program in the state of Connecticut; be a current first-year student enrolled full-time; and submit two letters of recommendation that describe clinical and academic abilities, as well as a transcript.
The winner will be notified by email and a letter and the award will be mailed to the recipient's home address. While there are no restrictions on how the money is to be spent, the intent is for it to be used toward education. The Connecticut Academy of Audiology Scholarship has been established to recognize a Doctor of Audiology student who embodies the leadership, commitment, and educational standards necessary to become a successful Doctor of Audiology.
