The Chesapeake Section, American Water Works Association (CSAWWA) invites you to apply for our High School Scholarship Award, which is available to high school or home-schooled seniors interested in a career in the water utility industry. The $1,000 scholarship can be utilized for tuition, fees, books, and school supplies for a student attending a college, university, or trade school with plans to pursue a career in the water, stormwater, or wastewater industries. Three $1,000 scholarships are available.
Eligibility
- Must be a high school senior in Maryland, Delaware, or DC.
- Must be planning to pursue a career in the water, stormwater, or wastewater industries.
- Must be accepted into a college/university or trade school for the Fall school year.
Deadline
The deadline for applying for this scholarship is March 31st, and the award will be announced in May.
