The Young Designers' Scholarship Competition is a house design contest for high school students interested in drafting, architecture or home building. The competition is open to any student enrolled in a public or private secondary school from the Cities of Chesapeake, Franklin, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg, and the Counties of Accomack, Gloucester, Isle of Wight, James City, Mathews, Northampton, Southampton and York.
All public and private high school students are eligible to compete for scholarship money in the Coastal Virginia Building Industry Association Scholarship Foundation's annual design contest. Scholarship awards range depending on placement.
