Scholarship Description

The Hopson-Laurent Scholarship Fund was established in 2010 to benefit qualified applicants from Fort Towson and Choctaw County, Oklahoma.

Scholarship Details

  • Supports undergraduate study at accredited two-year or four-year institutions
  • Preference given to students from Fort Towson and those studying architecture, art, or forestry

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be accepted for enrollment or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Must be a graduate of a public or private high school in Choctaw County, Oklahoma
  • Preference given to graduates of Fort Towson high schools
  • Applicants planning to study architecture, art, or forestry may receive special consideration

Application Process

  1. Visit the scholarship portal and create an online applicant profile
  2. Log in to the Applicant Dashboard and click “APPLY” on the navigation bar
  3. Enter access code Hopson2026 to locate the Hopson-Laurent Scholarship Application
  4. Click the blue “APPLY” button next to the Hopson-Laurent Scholarship description
  5. Complete all required fields and submit the application by April 14
