The Daughters of the Cincinnati have contributed generously to the scholarship fund for over a century. Applicants must be daughters of career commissioned officers in the United States military. If eligible, applicants apply during their senior year in high school. The application process includes an essay, secondary school report, a letter of recommendation from a member of the applicant’s community, and a Student Aid Report (SAR).
Scholarships are spread over four years and paid to the college or university of the applicant’s choice. Selection is based on both merit and financial need.
