The mission of the David & Dovetta Wilson Scholarship Fund is to award scholarships to selected seniors attending public high schools in the United States and to promote academic achievement and excellence. We are a private, volunteer-driven fund and dispense nine awards per year to deserving high school seniors who plan to attend accredited colleges and universities.
Scholarship Details
- One-time awards ranging between $1,000 and $1,500
- Annual distribution of nine scholarships
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a graduating senior from a U.S. public high school, a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Plan to attend an accredited college or university
- Must have a GPA above 2.5
Application Process
- Submit a completed and signed application form
- Attach high school transcript (official or unofficial accepted)
- Include a recent photo (HS graduation photo preferred)
- Provide at least one letter of recommendation
- Show proof of college registration prior to receiving the award
We provide David & Dovetta Wilson Scholarships annually and distribute umbrella awards to recipients on behalf of families and individuals invested in the support of education and leadership. DDWSF Scholarship Recipients excel academically, engage in civic and religious acts of service, and demonstrate a commitment to use their education to give back to our local, state and national communities.
